(November 06, 2007 - Rockville Centre, NY) - In cooperation with the Nassau County Department of Senior Citizen Affairs, the Nassau County Department of Health, and Nassau University Medical Center, Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre is offering free Influenza Vaccinations to Nassau County residents aged 60 and above.

Flu shots will be available on Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Mercy League Lounge, located across from the hospital’s Emergency Department entrance.

There is no out-of-pocket cost, but pre-registration is required.

To register, please call 516-705-1391 November 19th through November 30th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Mercy Medical Center is located at 1000 North Village Avenue in Rockville Centre, at exit 19S off the Southern State Parkway.
