Mercy Medical Center’s Endoscopy Suite is a full service unit.  It has recently expanded to five state-of-the-art procedure rooms.  Fifteen beds are dedicated to admit, recover and discharge patients undergoing Endoscopic procedures.  Our endoscopy staff are trained in the total patient care in regards to procedures, recovery, sedation and patient family education.

We offer a full range of procedures which include upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, placement of feeding tubes, endoscopic dilitations and banding to control bleeding, ERCP and a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic bilary procedures, esophageal manometry and 24 hour pH monitoring.

In 2002 we performed over 7,200 endoscopic procedures in the Endoscopic Suite.  We look forward to exceeding that number in 2003.
