This is a short term program that provides an intensive structured treatment environment five days a week/ five hours a day for adult mentally-ill and mentally-ill chemically addicted individuals who are experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms. It can serve as an alternative to an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit stay, or as a step-down program to decrease the length of an Inpatient Unit admission. A multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of a Psychiatrist, Registered Nurse, Social Worker and an Alcoholism Counselor and a Art Therapist provide treatment to assist the individual with regaining stability of their symptoms.
