Mercy’s Department of Radiology and Imaging
provides the highest level of care and service in the area of
diagnostic imaging, therapeutic, and consultative services to
doctors, inpatients and outpatients. The Department of Radiology
and Imaging at Mercy contains state-of-the-art facilities and
equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and other
serious illnesses.
The Women’s Imaging Center, at the Bishop McGann Center,
provides one site for women to receive such services as mammography
and stereotactic biopsies for greater accuracy in diagnosing breast
cancer; and bone densitometry for the diagnosis of osteoporosis.
